'Light Sight' to be screened at Tripoli filmfest in Lebanon

Iran animation 'Light Sight' is to go on silver screen at the Tripoli Film Festival in Lebanon.

Iran animation 'Light Sight' has been scheduled to be screened at the 5th edition of the Tripoli Film Festival in Lebanon.

Directed by Seyyed moslem Tabatabaee, 'Light sight' will represent Iran at the 2018 edition of event.

The short animation tells the story of a creature named M.E. who is enamored by a white light outside of its room.

“The animation has one character and one setting,” Tabatabaee told the media earlier on, adding, “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.”

The 3D animation has already won awards at scores of international festivals.

Founded in 2014, the Tripoli Film Festival is a serious attempt to broaden the network of film-making and networking in Lebanon among young filmmakers. It is an open door to discuss film productions in Lebanon and the Middle East.

The event is slated for April 19-26, 2018, in Beirut, Lebanon.
